Join us for this special lecture from the North and South Rivers Watershed Association (NSRWA)! NSRWA is a non-profit grass roots environmental organization dedicated to the protection of the North and South Rivers, their streams and marshes since 1970. This is for people who Kayak, Canoe & Paddleboard and want to learn how to time the tides along the Rivers, where to launch their boats and how to safely paddle in these beautiful waters. The presentation includes practical information for paddlers of all experience levels. This presentation also includes photos, images and commentary on the natural beauty, rich history and fragile ecology of the Rivers. The North River is the first Scenic Protected River in Massachusetts and the North and South Rivers were designated a National Natural Landmark by the National Park Service.
