Call of Cthulu RPG Mini Series

Tuesday, January 96:30—7:30 PMAdelaide Phillips Conference RoomVentress Memorial Library15 Library Plaza, Marshfield, MA, 02050

Join us in the fight against the forces of evil as a Roaring Twenties investigator! The Call of Cthulhu game is a d20 role-playing game inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Players will create characters that fit in a 1920s setting and then immerse them in mystery, danger, and horror as they explore the dark shadows of the Greater Boston Area... and beyond. Even though this adventure takes place a setting that closely resembles the 1920s, it is inclusive of all kinds of player characters. To facilitate the first session, our Keeper (game master) will have pre-rolled character sheets that players can add to after getting a feel for each character.

This is a three-session program. If you register for the first day, please be sure you can attend the other two sessions:

  • Tuesday, January 9: 6:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, January 23: 6:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, January 30: 6:30-7:30 p.m.

This program is open to all adults, whether you've played a hundred role playing games, or this is your first one ever. The library will supply writing utensils and dice if needed. Players should being their own notebook, and are welcome to bring their own dice.
